Freezing bags and accessories for long term storage of blood and tissue components in liquid nitrogen
The Hemofreeze® bags are designed for long term liquid nitrogen storage of various blood and tissue components such as
- erythrocytes
- platelets
- leukocytes
- stem cells
- bone marrow
- grafts
- bones
The Hemofreeze® bags are made of Kapton/Teflon which is biocompatible and highly resistant to mechanical strain at low temperatures down to -196 °C. The material does not contain plasticizers.
A special transfer set is available. Samples may be stored in a pocket in the bag.
Patient label for quick and safe identification of each bag.
Before freezing, the Hemofreeze® bag may be put into a metal envelope to spread the contents of the bag into a thin layer.
Heat sealing of the bag with a special welding device is easy and durable.
